About this index

Atropos logo

Atropos is the journal for moth, butterfly and dragonfly enthusiasts. If you develop a more serious interest in moths, you will probably want to subscribe to this magazine. Currently (as of January 2008), there are three issues produced each year and a subscription costs £21 (UK only).

If you think you might be interested, I suggest you go to the Atropos website and click the link for 'Back Issues' - this will give you some idea of the types of article that have appeared in previous issues. Most of the back issues are still available to purchase (for about £7 a copy) if you do find any articles that you'd really like to read.

NOTE: Only moths and butterflies are included in this Atropos index, and even then it is not an exhaustive list of every mention of every species. The main focus is on articles that contain information about the species in question or show a photograph. The indexed issues are numbers 1, 2 and 4 to 38 (inclusive).

KEY: Beneath each species name, there is a list of articles which relate to that species. More recent articles appear at the top of this list and older ones at the bottom. Alongside each article is the Atropos issue number ('n') and page number ('p') where the species is mentioned (eg 'n30 p7' is Atropos number 30, on page number 7).

Please email info@onthewing.org.uk if you have any comments on this index or if you spot any errors.
